Russian forces kill two civilians and wound three in artillery attack on Kucherivka near Kharkiv
On Monday, August 7, Russian invaders shelled the village of Kucherivka, Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region.
Rubryka reports, citing the statements of the head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"The Russians shelled the village of Kucherivka, Kupiansk district, hitting a house. We know of two dead and three wounded people," Yermak said.
According to Syniehubov, the head of the regional administration, fighting continues in the Kupiansk direction:
"Last night, our military repulsed the enemy's attempt to go on the offensive east of Petropavlivka. The occupiers retreated with losses."

On Sunday, August 6, a 31-year-old civilian man was wounded by Russian shelling in Kupiansk. Private homes were damaged in the village of Kucherivka, Kupiansk district, and a fire broke out. In the village of Putnykove, a 61-year-old woman and her 65-year-old husband were injured.
A guided aerial bomb attack on the village of Podoly killed a 57-year-old woman. A 66-year-old man was seriously injured and was hospitalized. Another guided aerial bomb attack on the village of Petropavlivka damaged farm buildings and caused a fire.
The shelling of Cherneshchyna of the Izium district damaged the farm building. The morning attack on Kharkiv by an S-300 missile on Sunday damaged the building of a civilian enterprise in the Kholodnohirskyi district. No casualties.
Shelling of Kucherivka and Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region
The Russian occupiers are constantly shelling Kucherivka. In particular, in mid-July, the invaders dropped an aerial bomb on Kucherivka, and a 74-year-old man was injured.
According to Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar, during the past week, the Russian occupiers tried to return under their control the territories of the Kharkiv region, which they had lost earlier.
