Solutions to win: Ukrainian volunteers send two locally made armored vehicles to army

Two exclusive Ukrainian-made vehicles were handed over to the newly created mechanized brigade by the Come Back Alive foundation.

The fundraiser collected nearly $4 billion, as the vehicles are Ukrainian-made, despite Russia's attempts to destroy all defense facilities.

Ukrainian soldiers constantly need to replenish their equipment, so the volunteers consistently work on their requests since the first warfare in 2014.

The largest and most popular Come Back Alive Foundation has handed over two exclusive Ukrainian-made vehicles to the newly created mechanized brigade.

How does it work?

Ukrainian volunteers delivered an armored KRAZ Spartan vehicle worth over $260,000 to transport personnel in high-risk conditions and a Ukrainian-made fuel tanker worth nearly $150,000.

The unit which requested these vehicles is one of those defending the Kharkiv region from the Russian advance.

Since 2014, the KRAZ Spartan armored vehicle has been manufactured by the Kremenchuk Automobile Plant under license from the Canadian company Streit Group.

It has bulletproof windows and a protected bottom, as well as a steel sheet-armored body. Weighing almost 9 tons, it can reach speeds of up to 110 km/h. It is designed to carry two crew members and six passengers. A machine gun can be installed on the roof.

Another large batch of vehicles for the Ukrainian military was delivered by volunteers from Europe to Zaporizhzhia. After major repairs, they will be sent straight to the frontline.
