Russian attacks on Kharkiv region kill three and injure six over the past day
Russian attacks killed at least three people, and six others were injured in the Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours, according to Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov.
A 58-year-old woman was killed, and a 66-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries after Russian forces shelled the village of Podoly in the Kupiansk district.
A house was also destroyed, and a fire broke out in an outbuilding, he added.
At 11:30 a.m., Russians shelled the village of Putnykove in the Kupiansk district. A 65-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were wounded in the shelling and refused to be hospitalized.

On the evening of August 5, at around 8:20 p.m., Russian troops struck a non-residential building in the village of Kruglyakivka, Kupiansk district, with a guided aerial bomb.

After the de-occupation of the Kharkiv region, Russians regularly shell the Kupiansk district and the city of Vovchansk.
