The international order, based on rules violated by Russian aggression, must be restored.
Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a video message.
Zelensky mentioned that on August 5, the Ukrainian diplomatic team was working in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at the meeting of state leaders' advisers on the Peace Formula.
"In total, 42 countries are represented there. Different continents and different political approaches to global affairs. But everyone is united by the priority of international law. And it is for this that Ukraine proposed the Peace Formula. Because the international order, based on rules violated by Russian aggression, must be restored. It is very important that there, on the sidelines of the Jeddah meeting, bilateral negotiations with partners are also taking place. Thanks to our delegation for this work: consolidation of the world is one of the most important tasks. The greater the consolidation of the world for the sake of restoring a just peace, the sooner an end will be put to the bombs and missiles with which Moscow wants to replace the norms of international law," – Zelensky said.
Zelensky also mentioned that another Russian missile attack against Ukraine took place on August 5. Kinzhal missiles, as well as Kalibr missiles, were launched. Russian forces hit the Motor Sich enterprise in Zaporizhzhia and Khmelnytskyi region. Some of the missiles were shot down due to the effective work of Ukraine's Air Force.
"But no matter how many such Russian attacks there are, they will still not give the enemy anything. All the same, we will protect freedom for Ukraine, for all our people. And Russia's international law will not be replaced by terror, crises, or any intimidation. Literally every week, the world really adds strength to protect normal life," the head of state emphasized.
In addition, Zelensky thanked Germany and Lithuania for new defense and security support packages for the Ukrainian military.
Zelensky also thanked the Security Service of Ukraine, Ukraine's Navy, and every soldier who restores justice and accustoms Russia to losses.
"Ukraine will win this war. The world will win this war. The truth will win this war. The main thing is that all of us in Ukraine and everyone in the world, who value a normal life, work at one hundred percent without any stop for the sake of victory. Our unity, ability to build strength, and ability to bring war back to where it came from. This is the most tangible for Russia," Zelensky summed up.
