How does it work?
The task of UAnimals is to introduce people who can help each other. "We decided to launch a donation platform because we know that sometimes a blood transfusion is the only chance to save an animal's life," the organization said.
The platform will search for contacts of donors and recipients. As for further interaction, people should organize it themselves and under their responsibility.
Only owners of potential donor animals can apply to the platform until September 1. Only after September 1 applications from those looking for donors will be accepted. If you follow the recommendations of doctors, the donation is completely safe!
The platform's website has the necessary information about which animals can be donors and what examinations they must undergo before that.
Go to the "Donation platform" and register your animal as a future donor. It is essential to spread this information so that as many people as possible learn about the animal donation platform.
Background
UAnimals is an animal protection organization for rescuing and protecting homeless animals. Since 2016, UAnimals has been promoting the humane treatment of animals and protecting them from exploitation and abuse.
During this time, UAnimals managed to ban circuses with animals in three dozen cities, agree on the refusal of natural fur with dozens of Ukrainian Fashion Week designers, and also achieve the adoption of several important animal protection laws.
With the beginning of a full-scale war, all the team's efforts are focused on rescuing animals from the war zone and temporarily occupied territories.
The UAnimals team also started rebuilding facilities for animals that suffered from Russian aggression. An all-Ukrainian program for free sterilization of homeless animals was launched, which is already active in Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and other cities.
Rubryka earlier reported that a volunteer from the Kyiv region, together with UAnimals, rescued more than 600 wild animals from the shelling of the occupiers.
