United to win: Lithuania delivers specialized equipment to Ukraine’s prosecutor’s office

One of the Baltic countries, Lithuania, handed over special equipment to the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin reports that the prosecutors of the frontline regions work in harsh conditions. Prosecutor's office buildings are destroyed or damaged, and the Russian army commits new crimes every day. The equipment used in the prosecutor's office is also damaged along with the buildings.

What is the solution?

The Prosecutor General of Lithuania, Nida Grunskienė, personally handed over aid from her country to her Ukrainian colleagues.

How does it work?

The aid includes necessary things to ensure continuous and efficient work, like computers, action cameras, photo cameras, printers, and furniture.

"The Republic of Lithuania supported us from the first days of the full-scale war. It was this country that first appealed to the International Criminal Court regarding the situation in Ukraine," Prosecutor General Kostin emphasized.

Ukrainian prosecutors have learned how to create 3D models of war crime sites using drones.

Rubryka previously reported that a meeting of the Lithuanian State Defense Council (VGT) chaired by the head of state Gitanas Naused discussed, among other things, a three-year plan to support the Ukrainian army for €200 million.

Rubryka also reported that at the end of June, Lithuania transferred two NASAMS systems, ten M113 armored personnel carriers, and ammunition to Ukraine, after which Lithuanian military aid to Ukraine reached 0.5 billion euros.
