Russian troops launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia, killing two people.
The acting mayor of Zaporizhzhia, Anatoly Kurtiev, reported this on Telegram.
"An enemy rocket hit an open area. Unfortunately, a man and a woman were killed. Another woman was injured," Kurtev wrote.
He also reported that the blast wave knocked out windows in high-rise buildings and damaged the building of an educational institution and a supermarket.
The city council's tent is deployed on the ground, and psychologists, philanthropists, and relevant services start working.

On July 28, in the evening, an air raid warning was announced in several eastern and southern regions of Ukraine, including the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Air Force declared that the alarm was related to the threat of the use of ballistic weapons by the Russian occupiers.
After that, residents of Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia heard loud explosions, local Telegram channels reported.
The head of the military administration said that the missile attack on Dnipro led to nine victims.
