Russia attacks Donetsk region settlements, killing eight civilians, including children
On the night of July 22, after midnight, Russian occupation forces attacked several settlements in the Donetsk region. This has resulted in fatalities, injuries, and destruction.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this.
So, after midnight, the Russians attacked Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region with rockets. 5 multi-apartment buildings, a workshop, a shopping complex, a water supply, and a power line were damaged. No victims were reported.
Also, the occupiers opened fire on the civilian population 15 times during the day. Thus, the occupiers carried out three airstrikes with FAB-250 guided bombs [Soviet-designed general-purpose air-dropped bombs with a high-explosive warhead – ed.] on New York. As a result, four people died there; three more were injured. Three private houses were destroyed.
Two children died from artillery shelling of the Druzhba village of the Toretsk community: a 9-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister. A woman was injured. Two private houses were also damaged.
The occupiers shelled Kostiantynivka with Grad multiple rocket launchers [self-propelled 122 mm multiple rocket launchers designed in the Soviet Union – ed.]. As a result of the shelling, two civilians were killed, and another person was wounded. Twenty houses, cars, and a gas pipeline were destroyed.
Five hectares of wheat were destroyed due to the artillery shelling of the village of Izmailivka in the Kurakhiv community.
