Zelensky pledges response to Russia’s latest missile attacks

President Volodymyr Zelensky has called Russia's four-day strikes on the infrastructure of Odesa and the murder of Ukrainian children an "absolute evil" and promised a response to these actions.

The President reminded that today Russian forces had shelled the village of Druzhba in the Donetsk region, killing a girl born in 2007 and a boy born in 2013.

In the Chernihiv region, a Russian missile hit the village of Honcharivske, killing two women, while the debris is being cleared.

Russia again attacked Odesa and the southern regions with missiles and drones. Since the beginning of the week, more than 20 people, including two children, have been injured by Russian strikes in the Odesa region alone.

Only absolute evil can carry out such strikes. There will be a response. In addition, there will be even more consolidation of the world for protection and joint actions, even more energy for victory, even more desire for justice, fair punishment of Russia for all the crimes of this war. And such punishment will come, he emphasized.

Russian forces have increased their attacks on Ukraine since the beginning of the week. The southern regions of our country suffered the most from the shelling.

The enemy fired drones and missiles at Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions, killing and injuring civilians.

Russians destroyed 120 tons of crops in the Odesa region, claiming it as a "revenge strike" after the Crimea bridge incident.
