Ukraine's air defenses report ten Russian drones shot down overnight
On the night of July 15, Russian forces attacked some regions of Ukraine from the south with six Shahed attack drones.
Ukrainian air defenses managed to destroy four out of them, with others targeting a facility in southern Zaporizhzhia city, injuring one.
"Over the past day on July 14 (in addition to 16 Shaheds shot down at night), air defense destroyed three reconnaissance UAVs (Orlan, Zala) and three Lancet attack drones," the air force emphasized.
According to the General Staff, over the past day, Ukrainian forces eliminated almost 600 invaders, and since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression, the occupiers have lost almost 237,200 soldiers.
The Armed Forces also destroyed five tanks, 11 armored vehicles, and 14 artillery systems. The air force downed 24 UAVs.
Ukrainian troops continue to conduct offensive operations in the southern Melitopol and Berdiansk directions and keep ahold of the achieved positions. The defenders are inflicting artillery fire on the identified enemy targets and carrying out counter-battery measures.
