G7 leaders show support for Ukraine with the declaration at NATO summit
The Group of Seven (G7) leaders agreed on the "Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine" on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Vilnius.

The document was presented during a solemn event with the participation of the leaders of the G7 and Ukraine, who made relevant statements.
As reported earlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the framework declaration of the Group of Seven countries, if approved on Wednesday in Vilnius, will become the first legal document regarding Ukraine's security guarantees and will ensure the possibility of concluding relevant bilateral "powerful" agreements.

It should be noted that on July 12, the second day of the summit of the North Atlantic Alliance started in Vilnius, Lithuania, where the Ukrainian delegation continued bilateral negotiations with partners.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has already met with the leaders of Canada, Germany, and Great Britain.
As noted, the main priority in the negotiations will be strengthening the Ukrainian army on the battlefield and obtaining new weapons for Ukrainian soldiers.
On top of that, the head of state met with Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte to discuss the F–16 pilot training starting in August.
The first inaugural meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council was also scheduled for July 12. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, took part in it.
