Tonight's Russian drone attacks targeted grain storage sites in Ukraine's south

On the night of July 11, Russia launched a powerful drone attack that targeted port infrastructure where grain was stored in Ukraine's south.
According to the joint press center chief at the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Nataliia Humeniuk, it comes amid Russia's efforts to stop the grain deal brokered and supported by the UN and Turkiye.
The spokesperson said the attack "was aimed at the port's infrastructure." Exactly where the grain was stored. "Given the blackmail of Russian terrorists that they seek to stop the grain agreement," she emphasized.
Humeniuk said Ukraine expected this Russian attack because "cargo planes arrived in Moscow from Tehran the day before." At the same time, Humeniuk did not rule out that the Russian forces may launch a missile attack on Ukraine's south in the coming days.
"This night… there was a drone attack, and it is quite possible that there will also be a missile attack in the coming days," she summarized.
On the night of July 11, Russian troops tried to attack the grain terminal of one of the ports in the Odesa region. 22 drones were destroyed, and two struck the administration building of the port facility.
"At night, the terrorist country carried out a powerful drone attack on the south of Ukraine. From the waters of the Black Sea, the Russians directed several waves of Shahed-136 attack drones," Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa region, said. "The anti-aircraft defense forces did not allow the enemy's plan to attack the grain terminal of one of the ports of Odesa to come true. They destroyed 22 drones, but two hit the administration building of the port facility."
On the night of July 11, the Russian occupying forces attacked the capital with Iranian-made drones, and all aerial targets were destroyed by air defense.
