Russian troops shell Kherson residential quarters, injuring one civilian
On Sunday afternoon, July 9, Russian troops struck a new attack on the city of Kherson, resulting in one local resident being injured.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, announced this.
According to him, the Russian army struck a residential quarter of the city at approximately 1:00 p.m.
The injured woman was diagnosed with a concussion and head injuries. She received medical assistance; her life is not in danger.

According to the Regional Military Administration, during the past day, July 8, the occupiers carried out 59 attacks, firing 334 shells from mortars, artillery, aviation, Grad self-propelled multiple rocket launcher, aviation, and drones. Sixteen shells were fired over Kherson itself.
The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of settlements in the region and the territory of the shipbuilding plant in Kherson. Due to the Russian aggression, one person was injured.
On July 7, the Russians carried out 91 shellings in the Kherson region, firing 487 shells. In particular, the enemy fired 17 shells in the city of Kherson. One person was injured.
The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of the region's settlements, the school building in the village of Inhulets, and the territory and facilities of two Novokakhovsk urban community private enterprises.
The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, Nataliia Humeniuk, reported that the occupiers partially returned to their positions before the Kakhovka HPP was blown up.
