A powerful explosion rang out north of the temporarily captured Melitopol, where the Russian occupiers had located a military base.
The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, reported this on Telegram.
"Melitopol residents in the north of the city report the sound of a powerful explosion," the message reads.
Preliminary evidence suggests that an event has occurred in the hangar of the village of Zarichne, which has been converted to act as an enemy base.
