Goethe-Institut NGO offers €25,000 grant opportunities for Ukrainian cultural projects
Stabilization Fund for Culture and Education announces a grant competition for Ukrainian cultural organizations.

- About the contest
Stabilization Fund for Culture and Education 2023 is a Goethe-Institut project to strengthen the sustainability of cultural and educational partners in Ukraine.
The program aims to support the cultural life of Ukraine by providing grants for projects in the field of culture.
Grant funds can be spent on:
- supporting cultural exchange and promoting it through artistic productions and cooperation, organization
- measures and development of programs for the preservation of cultural heritage, and protection of cultural values;
- measures for structural support, such as professional development, digital development, networking
- or costs for equipment, and personnel;
- provision of protected space for displaced artists, as well as institutions within Ukraine.
Ukrainian cultural organizations working in the field of theater, dance, cinema, music, literature, fine arts, performance, architecture, libraries, and museums can participate in the contest.
- Conditions
The organizers will consider the following criteria:
- relevance of the organization for civil society and on the local cultural scene;
- quality and self-sufficiency of the project;
- the persuasiveness of the idea and feasibility, especially with regard to the use of time, personnel, and resources;
- necessity and urgency.
Within the framework of the competition, Ukrainian organizations can receive up to 25,000 euros.
- How to participate
To participate, you need to submit an application for participation on the website of the German NGO Goethe-Institut.
- Deadline
Applications can be submitted until July 26, 2023, inclusive.

It should be noted that during the full-scale war, Russian troops destroyed or damaged 1,500 objects of cultural infrastructure and 600 monuments of culture and history.
It was also reported that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of Constitution Day, stated that Ukrainian culture is an export industry that generates constant and significant world attention until the victory of Ukraine, and its development should affect book production, museum affairs, new politics protection of public space, as well as the development of the film industry.
