Ukrainian air defenses shoot down five Russian drones overnight

On the night of July 8, Ukrainian air defense destroyed five Iranian-made drones.

Russia attacked using Iranian Shahed-136/131 attack drones from the southeast (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar region, Russia)

The airmen say that "some" of the UAVs were not shot down but do not specify how many destroyed their targets.

They hit industrial and infrastructure facilities in central Dnipro and Kirovohrad regions.

Russian drones hit Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting an agricultural facility and injuring a man.

In the meantime, the military assault units, whose work is supported by the "Army of Drones" initiative, destroyed 75 clusters of enemy equipment, including nine tanks, in a week.

On July 3, Russian troops used Shahed drones to attack the border city of Sumy. Four hits were recorded in the city center.

Later, it was reported that two people were killed, with 19 others being injured.

Also that night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 17 Shahed-136/131 attack drones, 13 of which were destroyed by air defense.
