Germany sends engineering and anti-drone equipment with its military assistance package to Ukraine

In its new aid batch to Ukraine, Germany sent engineering military equipment and anti-drone radio interceptors, according to the government's press release.
The state sent BIBER bridge layer tanks, DACHS armored vehicles, and six HX81 tank transporters, making it 12 sent items for Ukraine's logistics.
Ukraine also received three drone interceptors and two locators, and radio stations.
As part of the military aid, Ukraine will receive Leopard 1A5 tanks from Germany and Denmark in the coming weeks.
Back in May, Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen announced a joint transfer of 80 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine with Germany.
In response to the US initiative to send cluster munitions to Ukraine, Germany will not provide them as it is a signatory to a convention banning the production and use of that type of weapon, the country's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said.
