Ukraine maintains in contact with partners on Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant situation – Zelensky
The Ukrainian authorities are in maximum contact with international partners so that no one in the world has a shortage of information about the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and the threats created by Russia.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced this in an evening video message.
"The report for this day. First: Staff [Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief – ed.] is a particularly long, particularly detailed meeting. In particular, regarding the security of our strategic facilities, our nuclear plants," the Ukrainian head of state noted.
In addition, he informed that the Ukrainian authorities are in maximum contact with international partners so that "no one in the world has even the slightest shortage of information regarding the situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP and the threats created by Russia."
At the same time, Zelensky emphasized that the key fronts of the east and south, where active hostilities are taking place, were examined in detail at Staff.
"We are also paying attention to the northern front- we see all potential threats, and the Central Committee is instructed to continue strengthening the north, the president said.
In particular, he emphasized that the issue of ammunition, particularly for artillery, is discussed at every meeting.
"And this applies not only to supplies from partners but also to production in Ukraine," added the head of state.
Zelensky thanked each and every one who worked for the fulfillment of this strategic and important task.
"There is constant progress in the production of weapons in Ukraine," the president of Ukraine summed up.
