Zelensky discusses with Guinea-Bissau President Embalo situation on Ukraine's battlefield and Wagner PMC's destructive activity in Africa
President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, the battlefield situation, the attempted mutiny of the Wagner PMC in Russia, and its destructive activities in African countries.
The head of the Ukrainian state announced this on Telegram.
"Had a substantive phone call with President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embaló. Thanked Guinea-Bissau for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Informed about the situation on the battlefield. Discussed the consequences of the attempted coup in Russia by the Wagner PMC and its destructive activities in Africa," – Zelensky noted.
The Presidents also agreed to strengthen cooperation and contacts between Ukraine and Guinea-Bissau at bilateral and multilateral levels.
Zelensky invited the heads of African countries to join the Ukrainian peace formula.
