Ukrainian soldiers force out Russian occupiers on Tavria front, eliminating two companies per day – General Tarnavsky

The Ukrainian military is systematically and gradually knocking out the Russian occupying forces from their positions on the Tavria front.

The commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Tavria" Oleksandr Tarnavsky reported that on Telegram.

The head of the group noted that the Ukrainian fighters were progressing on the Tavria front.

As Tarnavsky reported, artillery units performed 1,541 fire missions during the day.

Over the last day, the enemy lost more than two companies – killed and wounded. Twenty-five units of enemy military equipment were also destroyed.

In particular:

• Two armored fighting vehicles,
• three D-30 guns,
• gun 2A36 "Giatsint-B",
• anti-aircraft missile complex 9K330 "Tor,"
• "Zoopark" radar,
• automotive equipment.

In addition, Ukrainian fighters destroyed nine ammunition depots of the Russian invaders.

In recent days, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have advanced around Bakhmut and have also created a small bridgehead on the Russian-held eastern bank of the Dnipro River opposite Kherson.

According to Ukrainian commanders and officials, the Defense Forces are trying to wear down Russian forces enough to create a breakthrough that the main forces of the counteroffensive can take advantage of.

As Rubryka wrote, the Eastern Group reported that on the Bakhmut front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are pressing on the flanks, and  advancing.

Among all the fronts, the "hottest" is the Avdiivka front, because the most intense battles are taking place there.

At the same time, the head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, said that Ukraine's counteroffensive proved difficult due to anti-personnel mines and other obstacles. However, according to him, the Armed Forces are doing the right thing when they act cautiously.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, said he was annoyed by the comments about the "slow" counteroffensive because every meter is given to our defenders with blood.

The ISW noted that the troops of Ukraine's armed forces are conducting counteroffensive actions in several directions. In the south, Ukrainian fighters liberated 154.4 square kilometers of territory.

In turn, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, and the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Tavria" Oleksandr Tarnavsky, noted that the counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are going according to plan.

Ukraine is still preserving its potential. At the same time, the occupiers suffer eight or even ten times more losses, especially in terms of the number of dead service members.
