The State Emergency Service reports this on Facebook.
"The State Emergency Service of Ukraine received ten metal detectors from Germany. This equipment is necessary for the Rescue Service and will be used for humanitarian demining of the territory of Ukraine," the message reads.
The State Emergency Service reminded that Ukraine was included in the list of countries most contaminated by mines.
"Today, 30% of the territory is potentially dangerous, approximately 174,000 sq. km. It may take decades to clear Ukraine of munitions," the State Emergency Service emphasized.
For reference:
Since February 24, 2022, over 407,292 munitions, including 3,043 aviation bombs, have been neutralized by pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service.
It should be noted that Ukrainian rescuers have already received international aid for the demining process in the amount of over 700 million hryvnias.
