Russian forces deploy missile systems around mined Titan chemical plant in Crimea – Evocation

Russian invaders have deployed Pantsyr-S1 missile systems around the Crimean Titan plant in the city of Armiansk, according to OSINT researchers of Evocation.info.

The report shows the locations of Russian Pantsyr-S1 missile systems near the plant.

The occupiers have deployed camouflaged air defense around the plant, militarizing the chemical enterprise, the statement says.

According to Evocation.info, the plant may house the headquarters of the Russian occupation forces and ammunition depots.

A large number of freight vehicles on the railroad line leading to a non-operational enterprise is a strange coincidence. This is how the occupiers cover up these warehouses and headquarters, using a dangerous strategic facility, the researchers add.

On June 12, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia is preparing a "man-made catastrophe" at the Titan chemical plant in annexed Crimea.

The plant's refrigerating equipment uses some 200 tons of ammonia. Inhaling the substance can cause a burning sensation in the eyes, nose, and throat and coughing. The intelligence said that if there is an explosion at the plant, an ammonia cloud could cover the surrounding areas in half an hour.
