Russian forces shell church in Kherson region, injuring two
On July 3, in the evening, enemy troops shelled the village of Kindiyka in the Kherson region, injuring a couple.
The head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported this.
He noted that one of the enemy shells hit near the local church.
The shelling wounded a 59-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman. Both victims were hospitalized and are being treated by doctors.
Before that, in the afternoon, Russian troops also shelled the village of Stanislav in the Kherson region with artillery at about 13:30. Three local residents were wounded, and two of them were hospitalized. Private houses and outbuildings were damaged.
Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson, was also under constant shelling.
According to local authorities, on July 2, the occupiers carried out 85 attacks, firing 490 shells from various weapons. The enemy launched 35 shells at Kherson. Yesterday, six people, including one child, were wounded in Russian aggression.
On July 3, Russian troops used Iranian-made Shahed drones to attack the eastern city of Sumy. Four hits were recorded in the city center.
Initially, two victims and 16 injured were reported.
