On the night of July 2, the Russian occupiers once again shelled the Kherson region, as a result of which a 13-year-old child was injured.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration spokesperson, Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, reported that on the telethon air.

As the representative of the military administration said, the night in the Kherson region was loud.

"Once again, they attacked the Kherson cotton plant and the Shumensky district. Fortunately, there were no victims there. For the second day in a row, they continue to mutilate the children of the Kherson region," Tolokonnikov emphasized.

As the spokesman of Kherson OVA noted:

"Fortunately, all of them received minor injuries – contusions and scratches. However, the children are now in the hospital. There is no threat to life," Tolokonnikov added.

For reference:

The Russian army strikes daily on the territories of the Kherson region, starting from the time of the de-occupation of the regional center by Ukrainian troops.

For example, two people were injured due to the recent shelling of the village of Bilozerka. One civilian was killed.

In addition, on June 29, Russian troops opened fire on the residential areas of Kherson. At least two civilians are known to have been injured.

Also, on June 23, around 10:20 a.m., occupiers from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region shelled the regional center with artillery. According to the prosecutor's office, they targeted the transport infrastructure.

As a result of the shelling, a 55-year-old man died on the spot.

Five more people were injured and hospitalized. Later it became known that two more men died in the hospital – 43 and 53 years old.

As Rubryka wrote, on June 30, the Russian occupiers attacked the Antonivskyi bridge, which connects the right and left banks of the Dnipro River near Kherson: they probably attacked the bridge with an Iskander missile.
