Finnish company opens free educational center in Chernihiv region
Thanks to the support of the European Union, a free digital educational center was launched in the Korop community in the Chernihiv region.
The Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, reported this.
What is the problem?
As of the beginning of 2023, as a result of the war in Ukraine, 440 educational institutions were utterly destroyed, and another 2,711 were damaged. Almost half of them are schools.
What is the solution?
The head of the Chernihiv regional state administration noted that the educational center was opened by the Finnish international non-governmental organization Finn Church Aid (FCA) within the framework of the "Safe Return to Education in Ukraine" project.

How does it work?
Schoolchildren received space for classes under the programs of the Ministry of Education and quality educational leisure time. The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union.
The Finnish company provided the work of the center's instructors, as well as:
- repair of premises,
- purchase of furniture,
- electronic equipment,
- educational materials.
The digital learning center is equipped with ten laptops and 40 unique sets of SPARK KIT gadgets – these are so-called digital classrooms that provide the opportunity to conduct classes with access to all necessary educational platforms.
