Ukrainian forces destroy Russian National Guard's base in occupied Henichesk
Ukraine's Defense Forces have destroyed a base of Russia's National Guard (Rosgvardiya) in the Kherson region's Henichesk.
Henichesk is located about 160 kilometers from the front line in the Kherson region, says colonel of the Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk.
Rosgvardiya's base in Henichesk… The Ukrainian response to Russian missile terror came quickly. The occupiers will have no rest within our land. Destroying the rashists, holding the sky, Oleshchuk wrote.
This a reminder that Russian invaders intensified attacks in the Kherson region. Following the strike on the Chonhar Bridge, Russians launched attacks near the Antoniv Bridge.
Recently, Ukrainian officials or Telegram channels have frequently been reporting explosions in the temporarily occupied territories. Russian ammunition depots or soldiers' deployment points are under attack.
This is the second attack by the Ukrainian military on facilities in the Henichesk area. The first one took place on June 18, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to hit an enemy ammunition depot located near the city.
Yesterday, June 22, residents of the temporarily occupied Melitopol heard several explosions.
