PACE adopts resolution based on Ukraine’s peace formula

On June 22, the PACE adopted a resolution on the political consequences of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

PACE members supported it with 80 votes, says Maria Mesentseva, Ukraine's deputy.

"Just now! 80 voted FOR. In the Resolution "Political consequences of Russian aggression against Ukraine", PACE fully supports President Zelensky's Peace Plan, as well as the following revolutionary points," the statement said.

The PACE fully supports the peace plan of Zelensky, as well as the following points:

• continuation and strengthening of additional civilian and military assistance, in particular through the re-export of its own goods;
• creation of a strategic European economic autonomy from Russian oil and gas as the main tool of blackmailing Europe;
• measures to prevent the resale of Russian minerals to Europe through third countries;
  expanding the list of individuals and legal entities subject to restrictive measures (sanctions) in Russia, Belarus, and third countries;
• recognizing the Russian regime as one that follows the dangerous ideology of rascism. It consists of hundreds of examples of war crimes and directly promotes the crime of genocide;
• support of the field of Russian colonial policy studies, with the aim of studying Russia's past policies and practices aimed at pursuing imperialist policies;
• recognition of Russia's guilt in the war crime of ecocide, which was committed by blowing up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station in order to stop the counteroffensive;
• creation of strategic economic autonomy from Russian gas and oil, which are used in Russia to expand imperialist geopolitical goals;

The PACE also specifically recognizes Russia's intention to blow up the ZNPP, posing a threat to the entire continent.

What's going on at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant?

The IAEA is aware that Russian troops had previously planted mines at the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP, both around the perimeter of the plant and in certain places inside.

However, during the visit Rafael Grossi to the nuclear power plant a week ago, no mines were seen.

Earlier, on June 20, the head of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the invaders had mined a cooler at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. He emphasized that if the cooler is disabled, there is a high probability that there will be major problems.

On June 22, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video address that Russia was considering a scenario of a terrorist attack at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant and had prepared everything for it.
