The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, wrote that on Facebook.
As reported by the Russian media, the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmytro Peskov, said that Russia allegedly fulfilled the task of the so-called "special military operation," namely, "demilitarized" Ukraine.
"Ukraine was highly militarized at the time of the beginning of the "special military operation." As (Russian dictator Vladimir) Putin said yesterday, one of the tasks was the "demilitarization" of Ukraine. In fact, this task has been largely accomplished," he emphasized.
The Kremlin spokesman stated that Ukraine has been deploying fewer of its own armaments while increasingly utilizing weapons provided by Western countries to explain his declaration.
In turn, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry commented on the statements of the spokesman of the Russian dictator about the "demilitarization" of Ukraine. The minister suggested that the Kremlin may soon announce the fulfillment of other "tasks" set by Putin.
"In the following series: in fact, all "special military operation" tasks have been completed.
- As a member of the EU and NATO, Ukraine will not be able to attack Russia,
- Crimea is no longer a burden on the Russian budget,
- Nazis remained only in Russia,
- the losses of Russian soldiers and equipment in Ukraine, which we will not tell anyone about, helped us correct mistakes and strengthen Russia. Russia is stronger than ever," Kuleba wrote.
The Minister has opined that President Putin can provide the Russian populace with a reversal of the territorial loss of Crimea as a successful outcome of the war. Mr. Kuleba implored allies to enhance their backing of Ukraine.
Russia's fake successes during the invasion of Ukraine
The Russians frequently disseminate false information concerning their purported accomplishments during an aggressive invasion of Ukraine.
In May, Russian propagandists began actively spreading information about the destruction of Ukraine's Patriot air defense system. The Russian Ministry of Defense also wrote about it.
This happened after another attempt at a missile attack on Kyiv when the enemy used Kinzhal hypersonic missiles to attack.
In addition, the day before, Putin announced that the invaders allegedly managed to destroy five Patriot air defense systems near Kyiv.
Also earlier, the Financial Times reported that Russia is allegedly stockpiling planes near the border with Ukraine. Later, the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces noted that the Russians could not bring their aviation to the borders with Ukraine, as this requires airfields and other infrastructure.
In addition, in June, Russian propaganda spread disinformation through the media about a missile allegedly hitting the building of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, where the head of the Ukrainian Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, was seriously injured.
Also, in May, several propagandist Russian mass media reported the alleged death (others reported severe injury) of the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's armed forces Valery Zaluzhny. However, these reports were not confirmed.
Zaluzhny recorded a video to dispel fake propaganda about his injury personally.
