Ukraine's armed forces make progress on Tavria front – General Tarnavsky
On the Tavria front, the Ukrainian army has achieved another advancement success.
General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops "Tavria," reported that on Telegram.
"The Tavria front. The active work of the Defense Forces continues. There are successes and advances of our forces," the general emphasized in the message.
In addition, Tarnavsky noted that missile troops and artillery units performed 1,794 fire missions during the day.
"For the last day, the enemy lost more than five companies killed and wounded," the commander noted.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed and damaged 88 units of enemy military equipment.
"In particular, Ka-52 helicopter, 11 tanks, 20 armored infantry vehicles, two armored personnel carriers, three 2A65 Msta-S howitzers, 2A65 Msta-B howitzers, Zala anti-aircraft missile, Shahed-136 anti-aircraft missile, Orlan-10 UAV, Grad-21 fighting vehicle, "Zhitel" electronic warfare, four "Akatsia" self-propelled guns, "Gvozdika" self-propelled gun, the salvo fire system "Solntsepek," the general listed.
Ukrainian defenders also destroyed five enemy ammunition storage sites.

It should be noted that the Deputy Minister of Defense, Volodymyr Havrylov, said that Ukraine is seizing the initiative on the battlefield. Still, it needs weapons with a range of up to 200 km for the build-up.
In her turn, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar reported that in the south, the troops of Ukraine's armed forces are conducting active offensive actions on several fronts at once. They have partial success, although they operate in conditions of aviation and artillery superiority of the Russian invaders.
