Ukraine's armed forces repel all enemy attacks, engage in heavy fighting in Donbas – General Staff

On June 10, thirty–five separate combat engagements occurred between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian occupiers. Subsequently, the Ukrainian aircraft conducted sixteen air strikes on areas occupied by hostile forces.

Successes of the Ukrainian military

The military command reported that 35 combat clashes occurred in Donbas on June 10.

As noted, over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has carried out 16 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and two – on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

Also, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed four enemy reconnaissance UAVs of various types.

Furthermore, the Ukrainian missile forces and artillery launched successful strikes throughout the day on:

• two control points,
• five concentrations of personnel, military equipment, and weapons,
• war artillery in a firing position,
• and four significant enemy targets.

Attacks on the Russian army

The General Staff said that the Russian occupiers launched another air-missile attack on Ukraine, using eight missiles, particularly 4 Iskander surface-based cruise missiles and 35 Iranian attack UAVs of the Shahed type against military and critical objects and infrastructure.

Air defense forces and means destroyed two cruise missiles and 20 attack UAVs of the Shahed type.

In addition, the enemy carried out 92 airstrikes and fired 45 rocket salvo fire systems at the positions of the Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians and destroyed and damaged private houses.

The status of the front lines

The enemy continues focusing on attempts to occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions fully, and heavy fighting continues.

• On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
• On the Siversky and Slobozhansky fronts, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Senkivka, Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Chuikivka, Kharkivka, Sosnivka, Vovkivka, Stepok, Velyka Pysarivka, Popivka, Dmytrivka in the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Starytsa, Vovchansk, Budarky, Nesterne and Mala Vovcha in the Kharkiv region.
• On the Kupiansk front, the enemy launched airstrikes in the Kislivka and Kotliarivka districts of the Kharkiv region. Petro-Ivanivka, Novomlynsk, Zapadne, Masiutivka, Kyslivka, and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
• On the Lyman front, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bilohorivka. The Russian troops carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Nevske, Yampolivka, Zarichne, Lyman, Spirne, Vesele, Rozdolivka, and Rai-Olexandrivka of the Donetsk region. Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Torske, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
• On the Bakhmut front, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the direction of Bila Hora without success. Moreover, the Russians carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Bila Hora, Dyliivka, Toretsk, and New York of the Donetsk region. Areas of the settlements of Vasiukivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk, Zalizne, and Pivnichne were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
• The enemy did not conduct offensive operations on the Avdiivka front. The Russian military carried out airstrikes in the Avdiivka and Nevelsky areas. The enemy carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
• On the Mariinka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Mariinka. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka. The Russian occupiers carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Hostre, Maksimilianivka, Mariinka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
• In the direction of Shakhtarsk, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Velyka Novosilka and shelled from artillery the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.
• The Russian invaders are defending on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the Novopavlivka, Huliaipole, and Orikhiv districts of the Zaporizhzhia region. Moreover, the Russians carried out artillery fire on more than 20 settlements. Among them are Vremivka, Novosilka, and Novopil of the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Stepove, and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Sadove and the city of Kherson.
