Russian drone attack in Odesa kills three, injures 20 overnight

On the evening of June 10, Russian occupation forces perpetrated an attack with kamikaze drones on the Odesa region. Subsequently, Ukrainian air defense was able to eliminate all drones successfully. Regrettably, the consequential debris resulted in a fire, leading to three fatalities and over twenty wounded.

"During the night drone attack on the Odesa region, all Shahed-131/136 were destroyed by air defense forces.

As a result of the aerial battle, fragments of one of the drones hit a high-rise apartment, causing a fire," the report reads.

A fire of magnitude fifty square meters broke out at the scene, which was swiftly subdued. It is unfortunate, however, that the preliminary report suggests the loss of three civilians and twenty injured persons.

The Head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South, Nataliia Humeniuk, subsequently announced on the single marathon broadcast that there are 26 individuals confirmed to have been afflicted by injuries and damages due to the blast wave.

Among them are two children and a pregnant woman.

It should be noted that on June 9, an air alert was announced in several regions of Ukraine. A series of explosions rang out in Odesa.

Vladyslav Nazarov, the spokesman of the Operational Command "South," reported on the work of air defense in the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions due to the drone attack.
