The Belgian government has prepared a new package of military aid for Ukrainian forces, Reuters reports.

The aid package is worth 32.4 million euros. It will include 105-mm artillery shells. Ammunition will be purchased from the Belgian industry and delivered as soon as possible, said the spokesman of the state's foreign ministry.

With this batch included, the total amount of military aid provided by Belgium since the beginning of the Russian full-scale war will amount to 306 million euros.

In mid-May, Belgium undertook to transfer to Ukraine almost 100 million euros from the income from the frozen assets of Russia.

In March, Belgium pledged to hand over 240 military trucks to Ukraine, and in January, the country's authorities sent 92 million euros worth of weapons and ammunition to the forces.

In early June, the Belgian government requested Ukraine to clarify reports that pro-Ukrainian Russian forces used Belgian-made rifles to fight Russian troops on the western border of the state. Ukrainian intelligence responded that questions about the use of foreign-made weapons on the territory of the state should be asked of the Russian units.
