Kyiv launches search service for temporary animal shelters

YeKutochok has officially rolled out services in the capital, allowing those responsible for pet care, volunteers, and caretakers of homeless animals to access shortterm shelter options for their animals.

The Official Kyiv portal reported this.

What is the problem?

The service was created due to the high demand for animal care services.

What is the solution?

It is to be noted that the YeKutochok project is still under evaluation, and users may register at this time.

How does it work?

Users can create two types of accounts:

  • for those looking for temporary shelter for an animal,
  • for those who can provide it.

Link to the service can be found here.

The YeKutochok service offers the opportunity for individuals to take in animals temporarily, providing them with suitable shelters for a short period. This is meant to assist individuals in testing their readiness to take on the responsibility of pet ownership.

Individuals and veterinary clinics, shelters, and public organizations can use the service.

In complement to the overtime service, there is an availability to seek out or provide:

  • dog walking services,
  • care and feeding of animals, etc.

Also, owners, guardians, or volunteers will be able to order additional services for their wards through the service, for example:

  • professional photography,
  • training,
  • veterinary support and others.
