Two civilians injured in Russian artillery attack on Zolochiv, Kharkiv region

The village of Zolochiv, Kharkiv region, was subjected to enemy artillery fire. As a result, two civilians were injured.

The head of the Zolochiv community, Viktor Kovalenko, stated this, Suspilne reports.

The shelling took place today at 2:30 p.m., resulting in the damaged house of children and youth creativity.

"Preliminarily, the house of children's and youth creativity was damaged. Ten windows and the entrance door were broken. Other damages are being investigated.

A 40-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were injured," Kovalenko said.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers have seized part of the Kharkiv region. However, during a successful counteroffensive, the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated all populated areas of the region from the invaders.

After that, Russian troops continue actively launching missile strikes in the region. In particular, the occupiers carry out attacks using mortars and artillery.

It should be noted that Colonel Serhiy Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Group of Forces of Ukraine's armed forces, reported that the enemy became more active on the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts. Still, the Defense Forces repelled all attacks of the Russian invaders during the day.

Recently, invaders attacked Dvorichna, resulting in two people being injured: a 63-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man.

The enemy also attacked the town of Kivsharivka in the Kharkiv region with aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, two people died, and a child was injured.
