Canada and Poland agreed to support Ukraine on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration and provide it with financial, humanitarian, military, and diplomatic assistance.

This is discussed in the joint statement of the prime ministers of the two countries, which the office of the head of the government of Canada distributed.

"We are united in our determination to provide Ukraine with financial, humanitarian, military, and diplomatic assistance for as long as necessary. Ukraine must be able to defend itself against Russia's unjustified war of aggression," the statement emphasizes.

At the same time, Justin Trudeau and Mateusz Morawiecki called on Russia to "completely and unconditionally" withdraw its troops and equipment from the entire internationally recognized territory of Ukraine.

"Russia must be held accountable for crimes committed in Ukraine," the prime ministers stressed.

The heads of the two governments also called on Belarus to renounce complicity in Russian aggression, which openly violates international law.

In addition, Trudeau and Morawiecki pledged to actively support the transatlantic aspirations of Ukraine, which is "an integral part of the Euro-Atlantic community."

Mateusz Morawiecki also tweeted about the negotiations in favor of Ukraine.

For reference:

It should be noted that Canada is ready to strengthen military support for Ukraine and participate in training Ukrainian pilots on modern aircraft.

In turn, Poland has already determined the schedule for training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 aircraft, but Warsaw will not hand over its fighters to Kyiv as it does not have enough of them.
