Care center for children with disabilities opened in Vinnytsia

A new multimedia space for children with disabilities, "Different opportunities – equal rights," was launched.

What is the problem?

The civilized world realized that society is losing when a certain part of the human community is not involved in an active and productive life. Ukrainians started developing inclusive education, which enables children to accept themselves and get a job in the future.

It's no secret that education determines the state's level of development. It determines the degree of development of the society in which we live.

What is the solution?

A new safe space was opened on the basis of gymnasium No. 24 in Vinnytsia. Its goal is for children to study according to the newly adapted program.

Another important decision is the acquisition by children with mental disorders of social and household skills and labor training with further professional guidance after school.

How does it work?

In the pilot project, children with special educational needs from various schools of the community study, and three times a week, they conduct group classes in mathematics, the Ukrainian language, and reading under the special program called Joy.

The space has three zones: study, play, and kitchen. The interior of the space is multifunctional. The space can be transformed and become a large platform for various events.

At the expense of donators, the founders repaired the center, equipment and purchased household kitchen appliances and many other things that help to acquire social and household skills.

Also, the first inclusive safety class of the State Emergency Service for children with special needs in Ukraine was opened in Khmelnytsky.
