Italy to provide new military aid package to Ukraine
Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto on Tuesday announced the preparation of another package of military aid to Ukraine.
European Pravda writes about it.
Crosetto discussed the issue of military aid to Ukraine during the parliamentary committee hearings on control over special services.
The details and nature of the weapons systems to be supplied from Rome to Kyiv remain confidential.
The publication Il Messaggero wrote the day before that the new package of military aid to Ukraine – already the seventh in a row – may include the SAMP/T ground-based anti-aircraft missile system and other air defense systems.
For reference:
In March of this year, twenty Ukrainian servicemen were trained by Italian forces at the Santa Barbara base in Sabaudia on using the SAMP/T system.
