Kyiv Zoo launches advertising campaign in support of animals sheltered since the beginning of full-scale war

The marketing agency Fedoriv Agency created an advertising campaign for the Kyiv Zoo to support the rescued animals. The campaign is named "There will be no such monsters in the capital."

The results of the ongoing Russian bombardment and hostilities are far-reaching, including the destruction of critical natural ecosystems and an increased mortality risk for wildlife held in zoos, sanctuaries, and home habitats. The conditions necessary for the animals' well-being in captivity or the wild have been severely compromised.

What is the solution?

"Once upon a time, as if in a past life, we created a campaign to support the Kyiv Zoo – when you saw it on the streets, you smiled. Now it has a continuation on behalf of animals that had to be evacuated from shelling from various Ukrainian cities. And you know, they have what to say to the world," say the creators.

The campaign "There will be no such monsters in the capital" was presented in support of rescued animals.

How does it work?

The campaign was created to support the 400 animals sheltered by the Kyiv Zoo since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation.

"400 isn't the square footage of the enclosures, and it's not the kilojoules of Lily the Hippo's adorableness, though maybe she is too. It's the number of animals the Kyiv Zoo has taken in since the full-scale invasion began. Multiply that by eight, and you've got a big family of regulars and newcomers, who are cared for here without a day off, protect them from loud shelling, help them get used to a new place, and survive the most anxious days and nights in peace and warmth," the creators add.

It should be noted that Rubryka reported that zoo workers cared for a small monkey in Lutsk, which its mother abandoned.

In the capital's zoo, animals were given anti-stress therapy after the fall of rocket debris.
