Ukraine's air defense destroys 37 cruise missiles and 29 drones in another Russian night attack
Russian forces launched the 15th massive missile attack on Ukraine, targeting Kyiv for the second time in a row.
In its Monday attack, Russia used Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones and cruise missiles, Ukrainian Air Force says.
We have destroyed 67 air targets: 37 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, 29 Shahed-136/131 strike drones and 1 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAV, the report says.
Russian invaders attacked military and critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine on the night of 28-29 May.
The Russians also attacked with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 drones from the northern and southern fronts. Overall, they used 35 drones to assault Ukraine's regions.
On May 28, Russia conducted the most massive drone attack on Ukraine, having nearly 60 drones launched at peaceful regions. Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down 54 of them. The debris caused a fire in several cities and killed one in Kyiv.
