Russian army strikes a hospital in Dnipro: 15 civilians wounded, one killed

Russian troops struck a medical facility in Ukraine's central city of Dnipro.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, reported on the Telegram messaging app that there are civilian victims.

"Rascist bastards targeted the medical facility. There are victims," the statement reads.

Lysak stressed that it is an initial report and information is being clarified. The governor urged not to spread fakes.

Earlier, Dnipro locals reported explosions. "Sounds of explosions are heard in Dnipro, Suspilne correspondents report," Suspilne said.

After that, they reported the air raid alert in the city. Later, local Telegram channels said that a large-scale fire had broken out at the site of the possible strike.

President Zelensky commented on the tragedy on his Telegram channel that Russian terrorists once again confirm their status as fighters against everything humane and honest.

He reported that, as of now, one person has died, and 15 have been injured. Rescuers are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the rocket strike and help victims. All necessary services have been involved.

"Eternal memory to the deceased and condolences to the relatives," he said. "We must defeat these inhumans irrevocably and as soon as possible because our time is our people. And our people are the most precious thing in Ukraine."

As Rubryka reported, Russia launched a rocket and drone attack on Friday night on Dnipro, damaging a private home, two private enterprises, a gas station, and a transport company. A gas station employee was injured. Air defense forces shot down five cruise missiles and six Shahed drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
