вибух в Маріуполі

Russian occupiers have claimed that two long-range missiles were allegedly launched in the direction of Mariupol.

So far, the Ukrainian authorities have not commented on the explosions in Mariupol.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Mariupol has become one of the main targets of the occupiers in the Donetsk region. Russia constantly bombarded the city and completely captured it at the end of May 2022, when Ukrainian defenders based in Azovstal surrendered.

Recently, the Russian army has been using Mariupol as its military base, especially the port. The movement of Soviet-made Russian equipment was noticed there.

Explosions also became more frequent in the city. On May 19, explosions rang out in the area of the Mariupol airport, where the occupiers established their base.
