Zelensky proclaims "important decisions" to protect the sky following meeting with Italian PM

On May 13, in Rome, after negotiations with the head of the Italian government, Giorgia Meloni, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced essential decisions to protect the Ukrainian sky.

The European Pravda correspondent reported this.

"Today, we discussed our cooperation, particularly security and military cooperation. There are very important decisions regarding the protection of our sky," Zelensky emphasized.

However, the Ukrainian head of state did not provide additional details.

Furthermore, according to Zelensky, the meeting discussed the implementation of the "peace formula."

"Unfortunately, Russia responded to our "peace formula" with missiles and artillery. They are not interested in peace," the president emphasized.

Zelensky also thanked Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

"I am grateful to the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, for the opportunity to be in your beautiful country with a great history today. Everything we do together for the sake of security is what protects Ukrainian families, protects our children, protects the homes of our civilians and lives of our soldiers," said the leader of Ukraine.

After negotiations with President Zelensky, Meloni expressed confidence in the victory of Ukraine in the war against Russia.

"I am convinced that Ukraine will win, recover even stronger, and be more prosperous. The future of Ukraine is the future of peace and freedom, and it is the European future. And there are no other possible solutions," the Italian prime minister emphasized.
