Solutions to win: Kyiv prosecutors transfer seized weapons to Offensive Guard for combat missions

The Kyiv Prosecutor's Office has ordered the transfer of weapons obtained during criminal proceedings to the National Guard of Ukraine for the purpose of carrying out military operations at the frontline.

The Office of the Prosecutor General informs about this.

As reported by the department, for the needs of the assault brigades of the Offensive Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the prosecutors of the Holosiivsky district of Kyiv handed over the following:

• four cars
• anti-aircraft installation,
• more than a hundred mortar mines,
• dozens of boxes with mini-detonators,
• ballistic powder,
• a large number of cartridges of various calibers,
• grenades, grenade launcher shots, and hand anti-tank grenade launcher shots,
• TNT,
• drones,
• tablets,
• more than 70 names of various weapons and ammunition.

The prosecutors emphasized that all the transferred weapons were discovered and seized by the prosecutors within the framework of the investigation of the criminal proceedings on the illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosives.

It should be noted that Ivan Babich, captain of the National Guard of Ukraine and senior officer of the staff planning and training service, said that the Offensive Guard would be replenished with a new "Charter" brigade.

The "Charter" was established as a Voluntary formation of territorial communities in Ukraine by a majority of civilians and has since developed into a brigade of the National Guard, joining the "Offensive Guard.

It should be noted that in Ukraine, eight brigades of the Offensive Guard have already been fully formed; they will come under the command of the Defense Forces after receiving a combat mission; moreover, additional units will be recruited.

In early February, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine declared the establishment of volunteer battalions of the "Offensive Guard" to reclaim territories occupied by Russia.

Volunteers applying for admission to the Offensive Guard must select one of the eight brigades for service, formed from established units with combat experience.
