Ukrainian tech company offering $1,000 prize for best project caring for stray animals

Хостингова компанія HOSTiQ.ua надасть одну тисячу доларів найкращому проєкту, який робить життя тварин кращим.
Ukraine's hosting provider HOSTiQ.ua will donate $1,000 to the best animal caring project.
What is the problem?
One can find at least one stray dog sleeping at a public transport stop or running around the local market in every Ukrainian city or village. Sometimes you see a whole herd of stray animals lying calmly in flower gardens or near shops, where they are sometimes fed.
What is the solution?
The hosting company HOSTiQ.ua annually holds a grant contest, "Helping Tails," and offers $1,000 to help stray animals in Ukraine. This money goes to the most appealing project that makes the life of animals better.
How does it work?
In 2023, participants will receive additional prizes from competition partners, including:
- IT company "ZONE3000",
- chain of electronics and household appliances stores "Foxtrot",
- international manufacturer of food for cats and dogs KORMOTECH,
- the brand of premium food for cats and dogs "Club 4 paws",
- international manufacturer of innovative pet products "COLLAR".
For which projects
Charitable organizations or volunteers dedicated to helping homeless animals in Ukraine can take part in the competition.
The winner of the contest will receive $1,000 for their work in shelters.
How to participate:
The HOSTiQ.ua team will pay close attention to projects in a non-standard form. Therefore, to participate, you need the following:
- design your project into an interesting presentation – with text, photos, or video;
- make a post about participation in the grant competition on the charity page in social networks (the post must contain the @hostiq.ua tag).
The presentation is required for the project, and the call for papers must be added to the application form.
One can apply until May 15.
