Russian army strikes only working hypermarket in Kherson, killing three civilians, injuring three

On Wednesday, May 3, Russian invaders attacked the only working hypermarket in the southern city of Kherson. 

Rubryka reports, citing the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, that the strike killed three people and five more were injured of varying severity.

The minister noted that the Russian attack took place around 11 am. The interior ministry published a photo of the damaged Epicenter shopping center. According to law enforcement officers, among the dead and injured are visitors and employees of the hypermarket.

"All services are at the scene, helping people," said Klymenko. "You cannot negotiate with Russian killers. They need to be held accountable. Or destroyed." 

According to the local authorities, the Russian occupiers fired 106 times on the settlements of the Kherson region with various types of weapons. Kherson was targeted nine times. 

As Rubryka reported, Kherson authorities decided to introduce a 24-hour curfew, which will last from 8:00 pm on May 5 to 6:00 am on May 8, to facilitate the smooth work of law enforcement agencies.

The Russian army is constantly shelling the Kherson region. Kherson City and areas on the right bank of the region have been under constant shelling and strikes after being liberated from a nine-month-long Russian occupation in November 2022. In the latest shelling on May 2, the Russian army targeted Kherson and villages in the region. As a result, three people were killed, and five were wounded.
