Russian forces shell school in Chernihiv region, killing a child

Russian troops shelled the Novhorod-Siversky district of the Chernihiv region and hit an educational institution, which is not working. A child who was nearby died.

The head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, reported this.

The hit was recorded around 15:37. The educational institution hit by the Russian troops was not working. The child who died as a result of the shelling was nearby.

From 05:43 to 07:20, 17 hits were recorded in the Hremiacha area (Chernihiv region), probably from barrel artillery. As a result of the attack, the old church building, which was not in use, caught fire.

In addition, from 10:15 a.m. to 10:20 a.m., four rounds, probably from a 120 mm mortar, were recorded in the village of Khodyne (Sumy region). There were no data on infrastructure damage.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties due to the shelling.
