Vegan Weekend charity fest in Kyiv raises over $5,000 for Ukraine's army

The Vegan Weekend charity festival hosted by the Every Animal NGO took place in Kyiv.
Over $5,000 were collected for the needs of the Ukrainian military.
These money were raised for vegan rations and necessities for women soldiers of the Women volunteers movement.

This event was not just aimed at raising funds but at promoting vegan lifestyle.

About 850 people took part in the festival. They did various activities:
- tasted vegan food,
- listened to lectures about vegan rations and women at the front,
- bought a gift at the fair,
- enjoyed a stand-up from Ukrainian comedian Vasyl Baidak,
- danced on a DJ set,
- could get a military trophy in the auction.
