Russian troops fire mortars at border settlements of Sumy, Chernihiv regions

On April 25 in the afternoon, Russian troops conducted mortar shelling of the border territories of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions three times.

The North operational command reported that on Telegram.

In particular, in the Sumy region, from 13:45 to 13:55, in the area of the village of Koreniok, there were three strikes, probably from an enemy mortar of 120 mm caliber.

From 17:05 to 17:15, the Russian invaders hit the same settlement with the same weapon — three more hits were recorded.

In the Chernihiv region, the village of Leonivka came under enemy attack: from 4:30 p.m. to 4:35 p.m., the village was hit three times, probably also by a 120-mm mortar.

No reports of losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure were received.

On April 25, the Russian army launched S–300 missiles toward the center of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, Ukraine, destroying the Museum of Local History building and injuring five civilians, with two people reportedly trapped under rubble who were discovered dead afterward.
