Ukrainians from various regions report unusual polar-light-like atmospheric phenomenon
On Sunday evening, April 23, residents of various regions of Ukraine observed an unusual atmospheric phenomenon.
Ukrainians published photos on social media and reported that the sky was colored bright pink.

Residents of the northern Kyiv region observed an unusual phenomenon for Ukrainian latitudes. The pink sky was photographed in the city of Brovary.
Similar to northern lights, bright multi-colored flashes in the sky were seen in the Chernihiv, Lviv, and Volyn regions — north and west of Ukraine, respectively.

A similar atmospheric phenomenon was also observed in the cities in Belarus that border Ukraine in the north.
So far, there are no reports from the scientific community or authorities about the phenomenon's origin.
