Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov reported on its results on Twitter.
According to him, at the meeting, a letter of intent was signed to create in Poland a maintenance and service center for Leopard 2 main battle tanks, which were previously delivered to Ukraine.
"This will contribute to strengthening our cooperation and the capabilities of Ukrainian defenders," Reznikov noted.
He thanked his German and Polish colleagues Boris Pistorius and Mariusz Blaszczak for their steadfast support of Ukraine.
For reference:
On April 20, the mass media reported that Poland was negotiating the maintenance of the Leopard tanks transferred to Ukraine.
Earlier, a T-64 repair center for Ukraine opened in Poland. Bumar-Labędy and "Ukroboronprom" have jointly created a technology center that will deal with the repair of T-64 tanks, their maintenance, combat capability maintenance, and restoration to complete working order.
